Why We Need Open Source Pharma
BY MICHELLE NASHLEANAS, MD PhD
Luck allows us to be part of the elite "haves" In healthcare. Courage is what allows us to risk our "established" status to normalize the disabled amongst us to validate the worthiness of others to be cared for as equals. I am grateful to place myself and my "pedigree" between the vulnerable refugees and our current political US administration. I may need you to show the world that people like me are worthy of defense of basic human rights. I will put myself between those who prejudge and those who are allowed to judge within our constitution.
To open pharma, tell me how I can write and to speak on your behalf as I stand for human decency. I finally have the power as a deaf doctor to speak and to be heard. Tropical hygiene is just as important as North American concerns. I am so proud of your accomplishments and of YOU. It is ok if I cannot help -- just know that I am here.
I will bring any refugees possible, Rwandan, Cambodian, Burmese or Central American to the cause that I can. We will learn together to speak so we are heard. We will learn the vocabulary of conservatism if needed to teach others of our value to humanity.
In good health and solidarity
